The Benefits Of Writing by Gen Wright

Writing is one of those occupations where you are able to take many of the ideas that occupy your mind and express them on paper for all to read. Those that are very creative amongst us are able to bring forth unique combinations of poetry or other very well organised texts that either rhyme or illustrate information in an intelligient and unique way. The other beautiful thing about writing is that it enables the writer to write in a way that he alone can write. To illustrate this in a different way. Imagine two people watch a football game. They are then asked to comment on the game and various aspects of it. Each person even though they have seen the same game will no doubt give two entirely different versions of it, even as they saw the game. So it is with writing.

When you think about it history reveals that writing is one of the most important inventions of mankind, starting with pictures commonly known as hieroglyphics which in particular was common among earlier civilisations, then to the alphabet, written books and the bible. Writing has essentially developed itself down through the ages as a means of communication between people not only through letters but also as a way to help people understand each other. For those of you today who love to write the internet and modern society afford us many opportunities to indulge our love of writing. Typically these may include writing short articles and stories, writing various blog posts, writing up short opinions on movies etc, and managing face book pages for companies. The list is endless and evergrowing. You don't even have to be an expert just show a willingness to write in your own special and unique way.

Thats right you heard correctly you don't have to be an expert to succeed as a writer in some form or capacity. In fact today there are many resources available that can train you if you are prepared to take some time to learn the basics and build upon them as you are able. Opportunities are varied and many and more often than not enable you to write upon topics that you really want to write about. When you have a particular passion or something that you are really interested in you tend to write texts that are very informative and enlightening for all to read. It goes without saying that this comes very naturally and flows as it were from the heart, it is something that is not forced or pushed in any way.

Aside from earning some extra money and setting your own hours working at home the benefits of taking this on board are innumerable. Perhaps it is something that you have not given much thought to. You need to know that today there are out there many companies that want to hear what you have to say. This means that your suggestions are very important to them. In other words this is your chance to be heard on many activities that you yourself would undertake perhaps on a daily or weekly basis with no compensation whatsoever.

To retain the uniqueness of what you write always remember that it is important to keep originality. What I mean when I say this is don't let your work simply be someone else's. The term for this is plagiarism, it is easy to copy what someone has already come up with and then claim it as your own. To produce your own work means you will be creative in your own right and in no way accused of stealing another's idea. Keep this in mind and you will go far my friend.

To conclude, learn all you can, and put those skills to good use when you place pen to paper and ultimately you will benefit from all that you do.
